    Yes, in 1291 on 1st August the Swiss confederation was born. :-D It was very small country compared to today's size ( !! :confused: ). And today it is raining and storming... :(

      Arrgh! No! The Gods of Chocolate, Cheese, and Cuckoo Clocks are angry! Run away! :laugh: That'll put a damper on the fireworks shows, then - I remember some of the shows on Lac Léman being pretty impressive in the Nineties when I was there last.

        yes, damp the fireworks! They'll BING, BANG, KABOOOM until one o'clock in the morning, :mad::mad: And I've already eaten 200gr of chocolate (this will be a loooong day... :zzz: ) PS: still raining...
