... fota (firmwhere over the air) technology is pefecrted and being tested. firmware can now be installed on phones and computers through wifi... again... no one talks about it. Joe Average (me) has no fucking clue. Also at this time,it becomes impossible to take a computer offline. Outside of geographic relocation, there is no way to do it.

I did finally beat it (in what is a thrilling test of computer knowledge. I won about 4 hours on my Acer with just TWO updates, in what they termed Windows Gaia. It was all a sham they had converted to Windows NT and had built a facade using PHP did I mention around this time I was enrolled in T-Mobiles PHP plan (stands for Professional Handset Protection. HA cute)... it gets better

Malicious down to grossly negligent and incompetent. In my 2009 Acer, not a single cert that came installed was valid by MS's own rules. 6. increased virus etc. is 90% a ploy to help distract while net frames are being put together in computers that are chosen. the people who make the viruses also make the anti-viruses. also so people don't start getting used to zippy computers (they're gonna be using some of that ram soon sonny.)

Last thing in this period is just to mention EULA. EVERYTHING they did to me those first few months was COVERED in the End User Licence Agreements. Stuff like coming into my computer remotely with up to 15 people (all remote of course) and having carte blanche with the place. yes folks, you are leasing your computer and software (for the most part) if you don't play nice they can take their ball and go home or (as in my case) continue to torture me until I was insane.
