You should give IE a try.

Oh come on - FireFox may not be that good, but he's hardly suicidal!

X| So, the left/right tab navigation arrows have been moved to the left and right sides of the tab bar, which makes it a HUGE mouse movement to scroll tabs left and right. I have 20, 30, maybe 40 tabs sometimes open and I need to zip back-and-forth between tabs, which they've now made really inconvenient. Then, when poking around "tab groups", which looks like nothing more than a way of changing the order of tabs (I was thinking you could create groups of tabs, after all, isn't that what "tab groups" means?) I blew my entire stack of tabs away, and the History -> open all closed tabs doesn't give me my full list. Crap. X| X| X| X| X| X| X| Worse yet, I thought I had TURNED OFF automatic update, because I do a lot of Ruby on Rails integration testing and I don't want the damn browser updating to something that Selenium doesn't support. In fact, I'm sure I turned this off, but Firefox updated anyways. More X| X| X| X| X| Marc

Luuuuuke....Luuuukkkee... come to the Opera Side!! Try the new Opera browser. I really like it. Very similar to Chrome -- probably won't notice a difference -- but it performs a lot better. And check out this fairly cool "preview other tab feature": http://newtonsaber.com/images/codeproj/OperaPrevTab.png[^] While I'm writing this post I floated another another tab at the top of Opera and it greys out this page and shows a preview of the other tab content. I like it.

Snazzy. It's been a while since I poked at Opera -- I do have it installed, I'll let it do an update and check it out. Marc

I added the joke icon. Seriously, try reaching out to FF with you comments, maybe. I am sure others feel the same way. I don't use FF, so I would not know.

Wow you are right. Opera (using it now) is pretty kick ass. I ditched FF awhile back and will never go back but for testing. Chrome was ok, but I avoid Google if I can. So now Opera is my default... it really is good.

Been using Opera for about two months now, has some quirks, but performs well. It uses the same rendering engine as Chrome.

That's the same reaction I had. I couldn't believe it was as good as it is. Hope the Opera Devs don't screw it up now. :D Leave well enough alone! :)

Right. WebKit, right? That's why I like Chrome and Opera. But as of late, Chrome had been just killing my PCs processors and disk read/writes. Opera seems better. Right too, that it does have some quirkiness, but mostly all right. Will Opera emerge to RULE THEM ALL?!

Ya, I honestly could not tell much of a performance difference between IE11 and Chrome lately... Opera seems better than both.

By the way, I updated to the latest version of FF just to see the functionality you were talking about (the arrows that appear after numerous tabs are opened). Terrible! Beyond terrible!! Stop making things better, devs! You only make them worse. :D I hate those arrows. More stuff to use the mouse on and that's always bad. Opera will arise to RULE THEM ALL!! :D Just kidding. I don't care. When one browser annoys me too much I move to the next. Originally used IE, then moved to FF and then to Chrome. Now on Opera. Safari is dead. There's always Lynx or my DragonSharq[^] browser. Haha, gratuitous self-promotion. It's always fun. :D
