Now now don't dis the health service, they've never given me or anyone I know any cause to complain. Some areas have poorer service than others (as with all things), which is mostly due to the people in those areas (sorry for being so un-P.C. but it's true) -- the media just love to sensationalise. I gave up on NHS treatment for dysphoria before I even got to see them. :( For a start, they'd have made me change role publicly before starting hormones. Their techniques - and the result they obtain - are years behind the US and Far East. I could go on - no funding for laser treatment/electrolysis, lack of trained endocrinologists and follow-up care.
