Good question. I like U2. But then, I also happen to like Windows8, so maybe it is because of me.

I am with you. I like U2 okay and I definitely really like Windows 8, but I was trying to be cool, by posting this. Please don't tell. :D

I've hated them for over twenty years, but that wasn't to be cool, that was because a lad at school thought they were the greatest thing ever and it really annoyed him to hate them.

I bought their Josha Tree album for $1.00 US at a place called BuyBacks. Brand new for $1.00 US. Well, it's obvious they are disliked. I mean, $1.00? Well, I listened to it and it is quite poetic and some decent music and I listened to it quite a few times. I'm just so all confused about "with or without you..." I don't know. But it is a decent album. That one guy, maybe thte guitar player...he doesn't have a name? they just call him The Edge? Edge of what? Must be the pretentiousness. :D

Why ? Lotus Notes is working nicely on it, and the bitching about security is nonsense, since I have installed Norton Antivirus.

Do you also allow the Ask toolbar to be installed when updating Java?

That makes sense. That's why I never follow the person, I just listen to the music. I could not tell you the name of a single person of any of the music I listen to. Same thing with actors. Often times when you see how they are off camera it can be hard to like their movies anymore.

I don't use the Ask toolbar anymore: It got once hidden behind my Google, Yahoo and AOL toolbar, and since then I cannot reach it, not matter how hard I click. I suppose this is some hidden feature in IE6. :sigh:

Not if your "freedom" starts hurting other people's safety. Google, those that package Android on their phones and Android end-users all have a responsibility to the internet at large to be good citizens. When your phone gets hacked we all suffer directly or indirectly.

We all knew iTunes was a virus and a darn nasty one too. But, now, iPhone, iPad, iEverything owners are learning that Apple has now released the Bono-Virus which fills up your drive and won't stop playing a cacophony of sound. :D Apple has released a special Virus Scanner to get rid of it. :) http://www.computerworld.com/article/2683672/apple-releases-ban-bono-tool-after-customers-complain-of-free-music.html#tk.rss_all[^]

I know nothing about the Apple ecosystem, or this situation in particular, so no doubt I don't know what I'm talking about, but...am I the only one who thinks it's pretty messed up that Apple has to release an actual program that individuals have to download and run just to remove some unwanted album from iTunes? I mean, I keep reading that iTunes is actually a pretty awful piece of software, but I thought its first and foremost purpose was to, y'know, manage music...

U2 was performing in Ireland; Bono stood up and started clapping his hands, slowly "Every time Oi clap moi hands, a choild in Africa doise!" Comes the call from the audience: "So stop f**kin doin it then!"

I bought a Beatles album on i-tunes for windows. It was restricted to that machine only(a virtual machine), which was pathetic. Let's face it, I don't generally use Windoze or Apple. So I downloaded my property from YouTube instead.

Actually, that is the software's second purpose and that is why the software is so bad. I can definitely see how you'd be confused. Especially if you've never used The iTunes Virus. You would definitely believe it is software for managing music. It's first purpose is to manage the human who bought the music. It's all about controlling when, where, how and who can listen to the music that you bought. On the other hand if you buy music from Amazon, then you can just download the MP3s and manage them yourself. More freedom! :D

Or 7-Digital if you don't want to be mugged into Prime.

Why not just buy the CD? Then you can rip the songs to whatever format you want and use them on whatever device you want.
