Coding excites me and gives me a purpose to go on. It does not fatigue me, it gives me strength. It makes me a veritable superman, why, it makes me a stallion in the bedroom.

Don't ask me why, but that reminded me of Wild Stallions. Which in turn reminded me of Wyld Stallyns on Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Which reminded me of the fact they're making a third iteration to the franchise. Now you know. Oh, and congrats on the bedrock Mr. Flintstone.

Not a comparison I would be comfortable with, have you actually seen a stallion at work, I like to think 30 seconds is a little too quick.

It's only too quick if you care what happens to the other party.

We are researchers conducting a survey on fatigue and programming. http://checkbox.io/studies/?id=542c520300b6a6f927000182[^] We previously studied other factors of in the workplace (e.g., Programmer, Interrupted). Your answers will help researchers gather data about fatigue and investigate possible detection and alleviation mechanisms. This will also help us understand and investigate an opposite state of fatigue: flow. Serious and fun answers welcome in the thread :)
Time and Motion men by another name still smell the same.

How many hours do you sleep typically, in a day?
Typical workday, or average including sleeping in on weekends?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies. -- Sarah Hoyt

I call BS. Anyway Coding for myself for fun. Yes that is good. Coding for CRUD screens so that someone can enter an Insurance Claim Faster so that the 'Company' can deny coverage quicker and save more money so that some fat cat can line their own pockets with more premiums? Not sooo much fun. Hard to get motivated for that. Working for Elon Musk? yes please Clickity[^] Working for Insurance? ummm Yawn! Clickity[^] All that being said I do have to pay the bills or the DW gets annoyed.
To err is human to really mess up you need a computer

Do we get prizes for participating? I'd help the survey for some ice cream or a t-shirt.

Of course, I do have the added advantage of actually owning the company so I don't have to work for "the man" (whoever the man is).
