I just got a great "job you might be interested in" e-mail based on a profile match.

    www.technojobs.co.uk[^]:

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority are looking for a new Head of Portfolio Management Office to join their team. While they are not a large organisation, they have a huge remit. They operate at a high level on significant scale projects with multi-sector stakeholders including senior government figures. The programmes themselves are carried out by a number of specialist subsidiary companies.

What does the hive mind think? Would this be a good job for me? :-D

Are they sure they're trying to hire someone? Sounds more like they're after investors.

Whoops I didn't even notice - in my post it should have been doughnuts(not donuts D'oh), I choose to believe that they are better than the dog's bollocks. I am not testing this theory however :-D

Are the States taking political refugees from the UK at the moment? I might need to apply soon. :(

You don't need the first word. Or an oh in the last. The answer would be yes.

Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

How does that relate to the Nuclear Power Authority from 20 years ago? If it's the same crowd, you might run into some Excel code I did there then that calculated radiation form waste piles (nested integration by parts!)

                          Nagy's reply to said offer:

Dear Sirs It would be my great privilege and pleasure to remit my tokens of worth for the venerable Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. My documents are large and obsequious, and will likely require the review of several high-level operatives working in tandem to see the full extent of my perfect meeting of their requirements. The scope of my high-level significance is not to be underestimated, and multi-sector figureheads will doubtless glow in the knowledge that such an ideal candidate as myself has been selected for the task of heading Portfolio Management to a large and small scale. Sincerely, your most humble Nagy

It's pronounced 'nucular'! Looks like dull upper management work to me but the pay is probably good.
