The US is a joke. Why anyone would want to live there is beyond me. The federal govt, politicians, police, authority and the system is shafting the general public in ways that haven't been seen since 18th century Europe. And the US thinks it is better than Europe. Its a joke.
Sign a petition calling for the boycott of Israel until it returns to its legal 1967 borders.

I was in the US a few months back. I went to my bank to withdraw a large sum of cash and took the money with me and paid for all my expenses during my two months' stay in cash as I don't have a credit card. I can't imagine being stopped and having my savings confiscated. I am glad I spend most of my time in India. The US has gone steadily to the dogs since about 1990.

it really isn't that bad. They have to have a reason. And a decent one. Otherwise they would lose their job. I have a good friend who is a supervisor of cops. He thinks the county sheriffs might abuse this. But only until they are pushed back against. Most of these 'special reports' take the extreme view and make mountains out of molehills. Anyway this has never happened to me. Or to anyone I know, Or to anyone who I know knows. Not a regular thing
To err is human to really mess up you need a computer

Yes, it is that bad. The city of Philadelphia is being sued because they have made it a point to take over houses, cars and cash and the guy who decides whether you should get it back is the guy whose salary is being paid by these confiscations. It may mostly affect blacks and the poor whites but that doesn't mean it is right. There is the case of a man having $40 worth of heroin and the cops attached his grandparents' home. How is that right?
