I'm making Halloween costumes for my son and myself. I've also been tinkering with an arduino with him. I also got to do a little arduino demo for kids in a local foster care center. I've also built the site in my signature. Also, I put together an android app that gives the user x-ray vision to look to the other side of the Earth.

What. You built an apps to look up dresses of people on the other side of the world? Kinky, but only any good at night...

OK, so John takes dead cars and turns them into super-cars, I take wood and make houses/furniture/absolutely anything out of it, and DD takes suckers and makes money out of them (tres tory); but we're extremes, and this place is full of analytical brains that should be able to turn their associated hands to anything, so what is it that you actually, physically make, when not sitting at a computer?

Baking is something I've had wildly varying degrees of success with. Madam bought the Great British Bake-off and Fat Paul's Pies & Puds books, so at least she's getting better at it.

What you have is actually a violin. You should try with a real guitare.

We have a toddler at home, so I have to take anything and turn it into... well anything! ;-) Now when she's passed the 2.5 years mark and have a bit more patience we'll pick up on the Arduino and Android powered robot again soon, which never passed the breadboard stage and so far only been used to create 'art'. I used to program PLCs, industry automation is awesome. Still programming but it affects the real world directly. Damn I miss those days! Well, one couldn't waste time online back then of course..... ;-)

Tried the violin once but the cat thought there was a fight coming. Went back to the guitar and made slightly less painful noises.

I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will.
