I used to build tall bikes (and other strange ones) when I lived in France. Would still do it but don't have the resources at the moment to run my own workshop back here in Germany.

So you do milling, and I construct and knock down walls... Should I start believing in numerology, or something?

I don't know about the numerology part, but you may have something there... :)

I've only tested it on my phone. I guess I'll have to look into getting it into one of the app stores.

OK, so John takes dead cars and turns them into super-cars, I take wood and make houses/furniture/absolutely anything out of it, and DD takes suckers and makes money out of them (tres tory); but we're extremes, and this place is full of analytical brains that should be able to turn their associated hands to anything, so what is it that you actually, physically make, when not sitting at a computer?

I made a 20 foot carbon fiber canoe and raced it 340 miles down the Missouri River... It wasn't pretty, but it did pass the finish line! Never want to build another boat, it was tough! Hogan

heh. It's like a lot of things: it looks really simple until you actually have to do it.

Of course! Plus a couple of rare ones: a Fairey Delta 2 and a Saunders Roe SR 53. On the mantelpiece in the same room, a 1:48 TSR2 and a 1:48 Tornado. :-D

A motorized merry-go-round using washing machine parts, a giraffe unicycle from a bicycle, remodeled our home (with a lot of help), some lathe work, wood toys, furniture, nothing recently.

You should put a clip of the giraffe riding it on youtube!

When my wife was expecting we had a 400 euro bet with her whether we were going to have a boy or a girl. I lost the bet but my daughter still likes everything I do ... action movies, basketball, football (that's soccer for some), etc etc. The only thing my wife gets to do is shop for teenage clothes.
