"In a final act of defiance, France has voted to change their country's name to 'Freedom'. It is their hope that the resulting chaos that this causes the U.S. will help to derail the war efforts." Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

I guess this would be a first in american history.very shocking indeed ,i find the whole behaviour of these war mongers. hope this doesn't derail into something very catastrophic.i've just seen a few minutes clip of the president's speech.his arrogance over american military might can only be topple by hitler's for germany. It's a sh*tty world. Take advantage of whomever, whenever, whereever. And oh.. becarefull what you say to me,am too sensitive.Or i might just show up at your house.

Of course, here is the real story behind that event. http://www.satirewire.com/news/jan02/choking.shtml[^] obligatory non-pictorial naughtiness warning Cheers The universe is driven by the complex interaction between three ingredients: matter, energy, and enlightened self-interest.

Maybe they should rememeber how America and Allied Forces drove Hitler out of their country. Everyone needs us to help, then they stab us in the back later.

This post was a joke. Besides, many US Citizens should remember the Naval and finical support the French gave us in our war for Independence. The word abbreviation is awfully long for what it means.

They really were not helping us - they were sticking it to the UK. If I were French ( thank you whomever that I'm not ) I would still be mad about the Louisiana Purchase. But then again the French have never been noted for their brilliance. Richard In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love; they had five hundred years of democracy and peace and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock. Orson Welles

They only did that because they were already pissed off at the British. They certainly weren't doing it out of any kind of admiration for the U.S. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends
