A snapshot ? All one billion pages  Could you explain a bit more clearly ? Elaine :rose: The tigress is here :-D
Trollslayer wrote: Could you explain a bit more clearly ? Not really, they simply crawl the web and copy everything they can put their "hands" on. There was even a copy of the old codeproject - when it was first published - and of course lots of other pages.

There exists this website that on a regular basis takes a snapshot of the internet. Does anyone remember the URL? A quick google search didn't help but then again I'm terrible in finding the right words when I'm seaching the web :-O . I tend to use too vague words like "file" and "computer" (although it worked[^] in Mission Impossible didn't it?)

wow - that is is just amazing just had a nosey at a really old site - cor all my spoutings are on there - eeek your past will come back to haunt you [OT] Is you signature anything to do with Bjork at all?
Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong

Indeed. Unfortunately most of the old web site is not available but you still get the picture. Strange how the pictures at the top first appear but then are somehow grayed out :confused:
