Rama, Paul, Kany, Rohit? Can any of you list the D-L targets (not forgetting to add 1 of course*) for the Lankans? Nish * Poor Shaun P

Aus wins by 48 runs of rain stops the play. :) SL requires 172 runs. Please prefix cricket posts with Cricket:

Looks like its all over Nish, I think they are falling short of target. I guess the turning point of the match was the run out of D'silva. I couldnt watch the match fully because there was no power until I saw the score 93/7 :-( Interesting thing is there is a reserve day tomorrow, what would be a good thing is to have a re-match tomorrow and do this D-L thing only if that match is interrupted by rain. But I think its too late for that kind of arrangement as these things are decided well in advance. - Kannan

The match will become interesting if rain stops and there is a revised target. Vaas and Sang. will start intense hitting (maybe get out in the process). Anyway unlike most of the other Indians I am supporting Australia, so I am happy.

I hope that Vaas is not given the man of the match (though I do think he will get 2 points). That way Sachin will be the player of tournament.

Australia wins by 48 runs D/L method. They would have won anyway but what a victory!! I am glad that it was not an upset.

I want us to beat the Aussies in the final and not a Lankan team that got to the semis through a series of flukes and good luck. Nish
