Things are a bit quiet in the Lounge today.....in fact, it feels like it has been a lot quieter around here lately, and that is taking into consideration DD lack of activity. You would almost think it was a weekend. :~

I think DD's busy posting comments on BBC articles under a pseudonym:

Comment #510[^] "Jimbob" mashed his face on the keyboard and produced:

It was only days ago that the Rosetta/Philae mission landed on the moon, took a few photos and then its batteries ran out. Why the sudden rush to go back there again? Don’t get me wrong, it would be a phenomenal achievement for the UK, but plenty of probes have been to the moon; how about raising the bar and landing a probe somewhere that nobody has been before, like the Sun or Mars?

If that's not a troll, then it's plumbing new depths of human stupidity.

One more hour for me. But yeah the lack of MQOTD and CCC has been stopping my activity in the Lounge this week.

I have not. Probably missed it as I wasn't near a computer since Friday and until Sunday evening. Edit: Went to read it, quite interesting, maybe I will give it a go if I have time after I finish my thesis for college.

I've had to do some work today. Quite enjoyed it, but wouldn't want it to become a habit.

Haha, well for my part, I started a new job on Monday. That day was quite slow, starting from scratch, i.e. a new Windows install (8.1, a little unfamiliar after some absence, and I only found the VS install image at about 15h30. Yesterday I was introduced to the all new and quite shiny VS Online, and was quite happy to learn we are using TFS online, and it's actually a Git repo behind TFS. Add to all the new discoveries, my boss invited me to the VS Online project using my work email, where my MS (Live etc.) login is my personal address, so I quickly created a new Live account. Ouch. I accepted an invite to associate with the org on my personal account, so that had to be reversed. I now have to use two browsers, in case cookie crumbs from one account mess with the other. Password hell, anyone?

Things are a bit quiet in the Lounge today.....in fact, it feels like it has been a lot quieter around here lately, and that is taking into consideration DD lack of activity. You would almost think it was a weekend. :~
