"GRAPHIC WARNING" Article did not deliver. I'm disappointed. Fairly oniony though.

I suppose they were partly right.. a stench probably arose from him.

Some people view faith as a type of currency and if they generate enough of it they can purchase some really large favors from God. The irony is that it is faith in faith instead of faith in God - a type of idolatry.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies. -- Sarah Hoyt

My daughter lives very close to this, which sort of makes it personal. Those that know Hamilton won't be surprised that the smell went unnoticed: Known locally as "Hammertown" it's the home of Ontario's steel industry.

Life is like a s**t sandwich; the more bread you have, the less s**t you eat.
