I'm sure that after much reflection you will come to your senses and decide to find a more functional relationship. ;) Marc

Interestingly enough, this appeared in the messages moderation queue as "probably spam"

Ditto!

I knew her a couple decades ago, and we've recently become re-acquainted. Back then I thought I understood her at least a little, but there were many things about her that I just couldn't fathom. Not entirely her fault, of course. I was new at all this myself. She was just so damn indirect about everything back then, and my mind just couldn't make the logical leaps that it needed to understand. So fast forward to today. She's matured. We both have. I can handle the subtleties now, and she doesn't point so much any more (well, she does, but only if you dig too deep). So now our relationship is blooming to a level I never thought possible before. I think she's the one. I love you, C++.
She can be a cruel mistress.
New version: WinHeist Version 2.1.0 There's a fine line between crazy and free spirited and it's usually a prescription. I'm currently unsupervised, I know it freaks me out too but the possibilities are endless.

Lounge posts are to Spam as ? is to Vegemite ?
«OOP to me means only messaging, local retention and protection and hiding of state-process, and extreme late-binding of all things. » Alan Kay's clarification on what he meant by the term "Object" in "Object-Oriented Programming."
