Let's say that the person who's job it is to push the button that drops the ball in central park falls asleep at the switch and forgets to push the button? Did he or did he not drop the ball? I say he definitely dropped the ball and didn't drop the ball but he didn't drop the ball and therefore dropped the ball. Happy new year. (oops, I meant times square, sorry.)

Well, since the ball drops in Times Square, not Central Park, I'd say even if he does drop the ball, he still dropped the ball... And if he doesn't drop the ball, he didn't really drop the ball after all.

If the ball drops and no one pushes the button is it really a new year? Hmmmm

New version: WinHeist Version 2.1.0 There's a fine line between crazy and free spirited and it's usually a prescription. I'm currently unsupervised, I know it freaks me out too but the possibilities are endless.

I think you also meant "whose", not "who's". :) /ravi

I say he didn't drop the ball, since he was working with a button and fell asleep. But I'm sure that job takes over 3 people, since its a municipal city job, supervisor, safety monitor and several workers, so the ball will get dropped.

You mean pushing the button as in the "Lost" season ? I can hardly imagine that one :^)
