WinIO initialize error

Hi All, I wrote a C++ program and use WINIO to control some general I/O interface card. However, when I run the program under Win8.1, WinIO initialization error always prompt out. Then, I put the same program under Win8.0, there is not any error prompts. Would there be anyone who understand what's the reason? Thanks any help. Eric
