Just a quick question, by "challenge all withold sarcasm" do you mean a) Make a comment that isn't intended as sarcastic b) Make a comment that cannot be easily seen as sarcastic c) Make a comment that cannot be interpreted as sarcastic at all.

I think sarcasm becomes a hallmark of most programmer personalities. There is a dissonance between the world and our models of it that gets to be very frustrating, and the expression of that frustration is sarcasm. Or quiet drooling in a corner.
