I'm new to android programming. plus i'm not a computer science student. I study Enginnering. So I'm not ashamed to ask for help. My professor(supervisor) said android programming will be good for me, so I developed interest. I have programming skills. I just haven't delved into android programming before

Has any part of your course suggested that you need to learn how to do research? Typing "Android development" into Google will find you a wealth of useful information. You could also look at some of the aticles at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/android/[^].

When you visited this website, did you even look around here? There is a section on the main page. You can go to that section[^], and you will find a lot of good content for Android programming. Good luck.

There is a lot of overlap between these two disciplines, research being one such aspect. From my viewpoint point, you've spent more time on this forum compiling your question and responses than it would have taken to do a simple Google search, the later of which would have provided you with a plethora of information and examples. Android articles here at CP are becoming more and more prevalent each day.

I would hope your university has an online search engine where you might be able to pull up some scholarly articles. If not, that's unfortunate. Wikipedia has a good list of academic databases: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List\_of\_academic\_databases\_and\_search\_engines You might also want to try Sage Publications: http://online.sagepub.com/search?fulltext=android+programming&src=hw&andorexactfulltext=and&submit=yes&x=37&y=11[^]
