That's the way to go. They'll grow, or shrink, as persons depending on how you look at it. Either way, it's good for them. To become good at something, one has to work for it. Hi all Just finished downloading Slackware 9. Only 1 650mb CD. All the dev apps you need with none of the crap ussually included with other distros. Install was a bit problematic with scsi, but work flawlessly 2nd try. It even sports the new xfree 4.3 and kde 3.1 (im using what they call the redmond theme, heck i cant even notice the difference now ;P ). I would recommend this to anyone! That'll keep the compiler from doing unnecessary semantic checks which is completly a waste of time unless you're developing Kdevelop yourself.. :) You could also try building the code using paralellization tricks in make. On a uniprocessor machine, runmake -j5. This'll makemakerun at most 5 paralell compilers.
