It was not as scary as I expected. I liked sixth sense better than this one, but nevertheless I enjoyed this one. I liked the themes of both the movies :-) regards Kannan

The sixth sense, oh man.... A colleague told me (before I went to cinema!!!): "Hey, good movie. You have to see it..... You'll will not recognize that the guy getts killed directly at the beginning...." X|:confused::mad::mad: Was a good movie, but absoloutly not thrilling anymore... X|

It wasn't even about aliens. I was somewhat disappointed in A Beautiful Mind because I was looking for a spy movie when it turned out to be a love story. Same effect. I know most of you saw it ages ago. So if this thread bores you feel free to move on to another one. Anyways for the rest: Good movie! Scary. Did the rest of the town survive? What about the guy who ran over his wife? Cathy Life's uncertain, have dessert first!

:( unfortunately I bought it. Hey, the trailer looked promising. :~ It has some nice facettes, but the general idea of the "alien intrusion" lacks realism. Someone who is able cross space in masses and can maintain relative invisibility should really be able to avoid "a water problem". And definitely they would not need to rely on signs in corn fields. That is plain stupid. Any dumb electronic signal would be less intrusive and more effective.

I waited with great anticipation for that movie and was hugely dissapointed. I love sci-fi, but that movie stank. You see, I hate dumb aliens :-) These beings had the technology to travel millions of light years to earth and yet have no defence against water, a substance that covers 70% of the planet they are invading??? They could have at least worn rain coats :-) I gave it a 4/10 :-) ASP.NET can never fail as working with it is like fitting bras to supermodels - it's one pleasure after the next - David Wulff

Perhaps the 'signs' in the field held some religious significance to the aliens? Obviously no technological civilization capable of interstellar travel is going to need a visual, land-based beacon. You never know. Maybe they were the advance agents for an interstellar billboard company...

I think that it would have been much better if they hadn't shown the alien at the end. Also, the water glasses and baseball bat on the wall made it too predictable.
