    You should have a color palette control at the top of each form, allowing the user to dynamically adjust the color to his liking for ultimate user convenience. But you should disallow him to select the same color for two or more forms in his own best interest in order to make the forms more distinct and the whole application look more cheery!

    Don't! It reminds me of a product I worked on back in the very early days of Windows. I think every possible font and colour was used. X|

        We once had a requirement come into a team I working in, for a screen with red lettering on a green background ... the requirement stood despite the advice. The coder that was given the work was colour blind. So was the person that QA'd their work. So was the person that did the acceptance testing. There were some seriously painful colour combinations doing the rounds until the requirements were amended (to white on black). All in all a huge waste of time and money. :doh:
