I'm freakin' nuts but, actually I kind of like Mondays, after all the running around with the missus and kids on the weekend (and it's EVERY weekend), Monday is kind of relaxing.

Not in Friesland. The worst traffic day in Friesland is early Spring. Muck-spreading time is my favourite* time of year. * Oops! I typoed a completely different word!

..if you don't like the country-side, why Friesland? There's not much cow-dung in Amsterdam :)

But there's fifty times every other kind of sht1 in Amsterdam. Maar, joking aside, I really don't like Amsterdam because whenever I'm there, I am inevitably approached by drunken and/or stoned Britons and Yanks who act like I'm their long-lost pal, and demand that I direct them to the red-light district and/or a coffee shop. It really sucks to be British in Amsterdam. It's where the scum of Britain and the States go.

He's Dutch. Every day is a day to complain about, to the Dutch. Mind you, if "sandwich" meant "two slices of bread and one of cheese" to me, too, I'd be bluddy miserable every day.

I'm across the country (in Limburg) and I kinda like the smell. Mostly French and German stoners here :)

I know what you mean. I was embarrassed to be British in Munich during the Oktoberfest for much the same reasons.

Yup, definitely mondays are the worst days for me. My friend and I always call it... "Mundane Monday".

I much prefer Mondays as I am self employed and the week ahead is potentially full of great blessings. And the challenges have for days for a solution.

I'm not fixed to working 9 - 5 Monday to Friday, but when I was, I always enjoyed Mondays. After a nice weekend break, a Monday morning is a good, fresh start to challenges that you get tired of by Friday.
