I am a realist. I have been constrained to "founder" by CP, where i would simply prefer "owner", and I really only own the name, i.e. it is a registered company name I trade under, not an empire. I charge a reasonable rate, but life as a sole trader is not the high life.

It depends on the website. If you run a scam website such as the online gambling ones then you'll make more money than if you blog about the bowel movements of your cat. The latter is going to appeal only to a very niche market.
