I wish I could do that now so I'll do some adjustments(Nothing just some targets like new year resolutions). Most of the time, my targets missing again & again. Procrastination X| = Development - Started to learn Android on last year but not happy with my current progress. Going to check hybrid things. Recently I found PhoneGap Desktop app. = Writing - All of my drafts(of articles & blog posts to be published) on my old laptop which is in problem. Apart from that there's couple of pitches for Novellas. = Film - Planned to release two shorts(animated) on last year. Animation takes really longggggg time. No wonder why Pixar spends couple of years with very big team for a movie. I'm gonna make a comic first before the movie. = Drawing - This is only thing I'm happy about its progress despite my drawings're just doodles. It's for above thing. My mobile, laptop & notepad with full of to-do lists with goals(poorly progress). Of-course new year resolutions are jokes to me. Last week I got a kindle book about "overcoming Procrastination" but still I didn't read a page. Ironic? X| Now I just added this as a top priority in my to-do list for this weekend. I think I'll do that surely. Only my age is increasing :sigh: . Today is going to be an one more normal day I think. That's it. BTW booked ticket for "Furious 7" for Saturday(Couldn't get for Friday night, already FULL .... it was really quick .... Paul walker, RIP).

Not sure who said, or exactly how it was said, but if I could do my life over I'd make more mistakes ;) You don't need a time machine. Just start doing what you'd like to be doing. If you don't you'll be telling yourself "I wish I had started that x time ago" x time from now :) I'm currently procrastinating as well... Should've done homework in the last few weeks. I did some, but not half as much as I'd like to. In two weeks, on the exam, I'm going to wish I'd done more about it... For some reason people have a natural resistance when it comes to doing things, even the things we want. Even if you had a time machine you'd probably not do the things you wanted to do. Unfortunately there's no cure or remedy for this behaviour other than getting yourself over it and just get to work. So, stop posting in the lounge and get to friggin work ;) (right back at me, I should practice what I preach ;p )

I don't know how to "inspire" you for the other three, but with writing, the thing to do is just sit at a word processor and write -- literally. The main thing with writing is that people are held back by the fact that it's hard to write stuff that's worth reading, and the next thousand words is always the hardest to get moving on. Just write any old garbage for a couple of hours, for any section of anything you should be working on; it doesn't matter if it's not good enough for final copy, or even if it's only good enough for the shredder. It can be complete gibberish, and 80% irrelevant to what you're doing, as long as you get something on the page. As soon as you've got that far, you've got something to work with, and something to improve. It's a lot easier to find the energy to improve something than to start it, so just brain-fart words onto the page to give yourself a start.

Another hint for writing is to follow Douglas Adams' lead -- and rewrite something three or four times.

Er, yeah. That's what I said. If you write perfection first time, you don't need to improve it, so write garbage, and improve it. The desire to write perfection first time is often what prevents your being willing to write. Me: Start with garbage > improve > improve > etc. Doug: Write garbage > rewrite > rewrite > etc.

That's really a great suggestion. Now I'm keeping sketchbook & notepad with me always for that reason. And you're a comic artist, right? Couple of months ago I did download your comics from your site. It was good as I like to read zines, mini comics. I have a plan to start webcomic(not soon) but first I need to prepare many things & the first thing is make many strips for buffer time. And I'm not even completed writing for that.

I'm way too busy to draw, so I wouldn't call myself a comic artist, but if anything needs quality writing or a spark of creativity: that I can do. It's just a shame that 80%+ of comics are lacking those things, creating a barrier that I don't like to cross. I used to love comics, when I was a kid.
