... my new 2MBit DSL connection. I used to creep with 7 KB/sec in the old ISDN days, now it's up to 262 KB/sec. :omg: When I was young my mother told me to clean up my room, I told her -1!

Is 2MBit per second the best that anyone can manage? I can normally download files from MSoft at 2MByte per second. :-D

                          I recently dropped my DSL (10Mbit) for cable (100Mbit). I average 300-400K/s.

Isn't that more like ~3Mbps? T1 is 1.544Mbps (150KB/s). Anyways anyone know what happened to Comcast here in the states? I've had 1500/128Kbps cable service for a year, but just recently I'm seeing download speeds of 600-800 KB/s. So I tested it on the dslreports website and it looks like I'm not the only one with much higher speeds recently. There's even one with a 36.5 Mbps download rate! http://www.dslreports.com/archive/comcast.net[^]
