My lappie has decided that Weightdotone is pure evil and has now tried to install it three times and each time has ended ignominiously with a FOAD order. So my current feeling is that I will *very* shortly partition and become a fully [un]paid member of the Church of The Penguin.

I've entered the church many time but just can't seem to stay long enough to get baptized. :)

Many years ago after my last XP meltdown and before I bought my Mac - I joined the Ubuntu cult for about 18 months. There were ups and downs, trials and tribulations but at the end I decided I just wasn't cut out for that particular religion.
Contrary to popular belief, nobody owes you anything.

Ditto...I still go to the altar now and again because I have an RaspberryPi and BBB and I have several sects on VMs but can't go main stream.

I was on various *nix for many years, but I went mainstream Windows in the late 90's. I am getting close to flipping back, it miffs me *that* much!

I still have an old Dell in the basement with Linux Mint installed. I power it up every month or two and let it update itself... not sure why. :~
