It was funny[^], I did see selfies of people with dead bodies of their loved ones, but this one is awesome! Selfie before being a dead body.

The first selfie was in 1839, they've been taken fairly regularly since 1900. If it is just the word you've taken against then blame the Australians, one of them first used it.
