Are you asking how to just embed Flash into the Webpage, or how to actually design and develop Flash files and then use them in pages? If the latter then you have to get pretty serious and spend quite a bit of time, all depends on what you want to do with it of course. If the former then very simply head on over to MAcromedia.com, go View Source, find the Object tag and cut and paste that. That is the code a browser needs to display a Flash object. Either way though Macromedia.com is the site you want to visit to start learning Flash. Books, I have no idea. 99% of what you need will be online, most all linked from Macromedia.com

There are a few good websites you can go to to learn how to use Flash. www.vtc.com - $25/month, video tutorials (VERY USEFUL SITE!!) www.FlashKit.com - Tons of free tutorials www.TrainingTools.com - Free Train (limited, but a good starting point for beginners) and of course: www.Macromedia.com (DevNet) section
