I find it amusing when artists complain about someone playing their music. As long as the (miniscule) fees are paid to BMI, public performances of recordings are allowed. Can't use them in soundtracks (other laws govern), but just playing it? Nanny-nanny-boo-boo. But most people would rather cease and desist than go through the bad publicity.
