Human brain is always trying to find patterns in visuals. These patterns are found using the information that the brain already has. Now, we see a lot of faces during our lifetime and that is one of the patterns which is common. This is called pareidolia. This is what has happened here in my opinion. It is probably same as finding faces, animals and other objects in cloud formations. Remember we sometimes see a face on moon as well?
