As a long time rugby fan, which is not so common in France, Saturday evening was a disaster. The mother of all humiliations[^]. :sigh: That try by Savea just before the half-time was unbelievable... The guy just pushed away three of our players just as if they were made of paper. And better not talk about the second half. :~ The Blacks are strong - The half finals look promising !

I have a sinking feeling we are going to a hiding next week. Hopefully they peaked against the frogs and will be a pushover for the wallabies. Now there is a prime bit of wishful thinking!!!

I think the French match was just a "warm-up" and a bit of a warning: "Look what we can do when we want to". I think OZ will meet NZ in the final, yes - but the Wallabies will be crushed by the All Blacks!
