Anyone know of a cheap/free way of adding USP support to NT4 with SP4? Upgrading to Win2K/WinME etc is not an option, but SP6 might be. Gavin

It is if you have the right drivers. My USB Zip drive works on NT4, but only if you use Iomega's drivers. --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ "Make sure that if you are using a blow torch that you don't set anything on fire."   -- Chris Maunder

Microsoft does not support USB on WinNT at all. From a technical point of view, there is no reason that they cannot support the USB hardware. The problem is that WinNT does not have extensive plug-and-play support, which is the whole point of using USB. One company does make a "USB on Windows NT 4.0" product for $79US that may be worth checking out. The URL of the product's page is: http://www.bsquare.com/products/devtools/usbwin40/ -- Paul "I drank... WHAT?"

Do you think I'd be able to get this little beauty www.pendrive.com working with my NT4 laptop?
