Another try: DERANGED [EDIT] That can't be the solution assuming DE - ED matches because the 'A' is at the same position as my last guess.

Is the correct answer. The characters were supposed to represent going to a pub, spending some money, having a big drink, having a little drunk, having a dance, having a lie down, spending some more money, going home. I gave you ungrateful mugs a story in 8 characters, what more could you want.
