Happy birthday, Roger :-) You were a young 46 year old when we first encountered each other on CP!

My God! Has it really been that long??? How did we ever find all that time we spent chatting online? :wtf:

Happy Birthday, Roger ! Speaking from eleven years beyond you, I can tell you the weather is fine, and you have excellent experiences ahead of you; but, yes, the movie may slow down a little, at times. :rose: Bill

Hehehe... The movie shows no sign of slowing yet. But I forgot how little there is on daytime TV!

Have a great day. And, as others have mentioned, 61 is far from old these days: I'm still posting rubbish at 70.

Yeah, those chat sessions on Sonork, with about 8-10 of us from CP, those were pretty awesome :-) I remember discussing if .NET would ever take off (we were all playing with the 1.0 pre-beta) among other things!

Oh my. We used to have a tool to see whose birthday is coming up, but that somehow faded away. Yeah, it's my birthday. I'm 61, if anyone cares. My senile mother forgot it; why shouldn't all of you? Happily, all of my friends at TheFireArms forum remembered. There's a good reason why I like shooters and reloaders a lot more than programmers. I just can't figure out how to logically define the difference. It's big, I'm sure, but I haven't yet figured it out. Anyway way, Happy birthday to me, and I hope that the rest of you have a fairly decent day.

At school I had a friend with the same birthday as me. Everybody remembered his and forgot mine. My ex had a birthday 2 days before me. Everybody (including her!!!!) remembered hers and forgot mine. In the end I decided it would be a whole lot easier all round if I just forgot mine too!

I think they remembered the date, but they forgot "Member 9082365" and then especially the last part. How awkward would it be to say "Hey Member 9082366, happy birthday! :D" ? Easier to just ignore it altogether ;p

Thanks a bunch, Ravi! I'm probably too old to do a jig, and I prefer scotch over beer, but I don't think we have a scotch.gif available. Perhaps, now that I'm retired, I should devote some time to creating more expressive emoticons for our favorite forum... I did a steaming turd years ago, but Chris declined to adopt it for some reason.
