"Isaac Asimov's Nightfall" "Sten King's The Lawnmower Man" Both execrable renditions of wonderful stories. I walked out of both. "Solaris" also sucked.. as did "Signs"...

'Face Off'. I cannot begin to tell you how bad this movie was .If you have seen it then you may well disagree with me , most people do . But it is proof in my mind , if ever it was needed , that being in a minority of one does not mean you are wrong. That is what I love about movies , they are so subjective . What is an entertaining few hours munching popcorn to some , is torture to others , how else do you explain why Bruce Willis is considered an actor ? Am I the only one forever playing catch up with technology , while all the juicy opportunites keep rolling by ?

There was a made-for-tv movie about the same thing, an anal probe to the center of the earth story a while back (couple of months back) that was really bad. Anyway, I will not buy a movie ticket for this one, and will not rent the DVD, and will maybe watch it on the Movie Network, unless there's a really bad Martha Stewart replay on the Women Channel! Max.

It has been so long since I've seen a good movie its hard to say. Signs was very bad. "Gods and Generals" (which I went to only because I'm something of a history buff and felt obligated) was extremely bad and lasted for four hours. You would think that in that length of time they could have managed one good scene, but no such luck. X| "My job is to protect America" George W. Bush.

In terms of the actually war, it almost tries too hard to be historical accurate - I've seen documentaries on the history channel that contained more engaging dramatic interpretations of the conflict. The acting was horrible. Duval slept through his cameo as Lee. Daniels as Chamberlain seemed embarressed to be part of it and poor Lang as Jackson gave it his best shot but was simply given nothing to work with. (The movie basically goes from one disjointed scene after another between scenes of Jackson fervently praying) Other than those three, there simply was no acting at all. Also, the movie's attempts at special affects was pathetic. I could have done better with crayons. "My job is to protect America" George W. Bush.

It wasn't really about the aliens Chris...:)

Hawaian shirts and shorts work too in Summer. People assume you're either a complete nut (in which case not a worthy target) or so damn good you don't need to worry about camouflage... -Anna-Jayne Metcalfe on Paintballing

if the producer wanted to make a movie about father/son or god/man issues he probably could've done it without using an alien invasion of the entire world as a backdrop. -c
