Basically I do a dry 365, with the seldom exceptions of a tiny glass of liquor when I eat especially well. I bought a bottle of Lemon Cream liquor in august and still have half of it in the fridge. Aslo I don't like beer nor wine so I don't usually take alcohol while eating.

I think most of Northern England and large parts of Scotland are hoping to give it a go.

Does a dry beer (a typical north German kind of beer) counts too? Then I'm doing it since 40 years.

Sadly not, after three days sober*, you lose your citizenship and have to re-apply by drinking a bottle of Bells and punching a passing Englishman. \* or 'in hell' as the Scots call it.

I've had some nice Chianti for the past two days. At the moment I live alone and when I open a bottle, that means one glass a day, so I can finish it, before it turns bad. So yeah in five to six days it will be gone. Chianti week if you will. But other than the occasional week of wine, I don't really drink that much. EDIT: On second thought, that last sentence sounds rather bad without context :-D

You have small glasses there, we manage 3-4 glasses maximum from one bottle. :-)
