Not to mention of hand-soldering such a board!!!

Skipper: We'll fix it. Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this? Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Herself used to hand solder TQFP 256 pin devices (0.4mm pin spacing) for prototype builds. She said it wasn't too bad, provided you used a wave soldering tip and avoided the wine the previous night! Me? I drew the line at SMT resistor rework...

Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Good hands!!! (the smallest thing I ever soldered were Arduino compatible boards) But I was referring not only to the pin distances, but also for layers we have in such boards in the picture...

The opening titles on the current (last) series of Mythbusters show a soldering iron with a bit about as thick as your thumb being used on a board with surface mount components[^].

I don't get it.:~ Don't you need to hold the solder in one hand while heating up the board with the other hand holding the soldering iron?

Still working for me - maybe filtering or geographic restrictions?

We had a serious virus attack day before yesterday, so maybe there are new restrictions in our side...

Um. She's not going to get a lot of heat into the component holding it like that... ;)

If the soldering iron was plugged in she'd probably reconsider her idea how to hold it

It simple, she's obviously a robot. A solderbot that automatically dispenses solder paste and solder through the irons tip. Has she lost her mind? Can she see or is she blind? Can she walk at all, Or if she moves will she fall? Is she alive or dead? Has he thoughts within her head? We'll just pass her there why should we even care?

It was broke, so I fixed it.

In addition to boredly frying around on the component side with one hand, not even holding the board.
