“We are realizing that this sort of automatic approach of doing everything to Visual Basic that we’re doing to C#, just sort of automatically, that doesn’t seem like the right approach,” said Mads Torgersen, program manager for C# at Microsoft, during Build 2016.

Oh yes, this continued support and development of C# should not be perpetrated upon VB.

It's a fairly moot point - all coding is done in javascript now, isn't it?

Let the floodgates of C# features open up!!!

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

I like that, a conjugation of the two words "cement" and "cemetery". Gives new meaning to the mob phrase "I'll give you some cement shoes!"

I hope they improve C# before they kill VB.NET :(

Don't they flipflop on "different languages, different features" and "same runtime, same core library, must converge the rest of the language" every couple of years.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint.
