About 40 years ago, a girl I adored, a few friends and I got stoned and invented a religion with her German Shepherd as our central deity. It made sense at the time. In fact, it still makes more sense than any of the officially recognised major religions. I should go through my files and see if I can find a copy of the Book of King, Our Shepherd. :)

Revering a German Shepherd makes sense to me, but, I don't see why the damfool pastafarians revere pirates. they are probably Johnny Depp fans.

This thread's the biggest laugh I've had all week! Mind you, I set my calendar to start the week on Sunday, and I haven't been up long.
