Differential equation prompts economist's removal from flight[^] > A University of Pennsylvania professor's American Airlines flight was returned to its gate, and he was questioned by security agents, after another passenger reported his working on differential equations as a suspicious activity. :sigh: Marc

its beyond a joke ! I'd be arrested surely, for writing pseudo-code or writing sensor calibration calculations, as I often do when I travel, its great think time - simply because someone else 'did not have the capacity to understand my background/profession, so hey, its suspicious Im now thinking of a recent discussion about 'average IQ' etc - ok, will those with an IQ < 100 please get off the plane !

I would probably end up in jail when I was working on my last program. Because in my notebook I have written exactly this: If other instances active, not critical - kill all children. If other instances active, critical - kill self. :-D The program was designed in the way that it should never have two instances open at the same time, as that could lead to data corruption or locking files.
