Mr Lydon aka Johnny Rotten would be so disappointed in them. :) He hasn't changed his stance at all, still froths at the mouth on the Royals, the establishment and the b*st*rds with all the money.

If your neighbours don't listen to The Ramones, turn it up real loud so they can. “We didn't have a positive song until we wrote 'Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue!'” ― Dee Dee Ramone "The Democrats want my guns and the Republicans want my porno mags and I ain't giving up either" - Joey Ramone

Actually, those of us around at the time and escaping the contagion would argue to the contrary!

        I am not a number. I am a ... no, wait!

Grazie a dio that pics of Blondie weren't included. But :thumbsup: to Steve Ignorant. All my "charity-tax-evasion money" goes to the lifeboats. Those are the real men.

I don't suppose it's any different to the hippies of the 60s who were into peace and love, and now most of them have perfectly respectable jobs. "Punk isn't dead, they just smell that way"

"There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult." - C.A.R. Hoare Home | LinkedIn | Google+ | Twitter

What do you - others - expect? The world hasn't changed, so obviously the former punks / hippies / whatever have... it's easy to laugh and say "sell out!" but at least they tried, and did something and, for all that they never caused a revolution, nevertheless they changed some attitudes and entertained people. And it's tiring being a "rebel" - very, very few people have the energy to keep it up once the energy of youth wanes - and we all grow older. Time wastes us all, in the end. Good on 'em, is all I can say.

"I'm never quite so stupid as when I'm being smart." - Linus van Pelt. "If you were as smart as you think you are, you wouldn't think you were so smart!" - Charlie Brown.
