I was wondering as well... I just found a quick weather average table[^] per month... indeed that "warm" spell is quite unseasonable... Be happy while it last! And another one[^]!

That is bullshite, no way in the world the Summer temperature on average tops out at 29.8° Celsius. If it ain't getting near 40° some days then I ain't here typing. We top 40° here in the Sydney area, specially out west where I am.

It's currently 19° Celsius and is predicted to get to 24° around the middle of the day. We're 4 weeks in to Winter, where is my cold weather?

I'd invite you to Belgium, we have winter any time in the year. Except this week we also have summer temperatures. Bad luck I guess...

I was up your way in January, found out what a real snow suit is. Also managed to park a snowmobile in a snow drift during a blizzard that took 2.5 hours to extract. Fun times.

Here in India, that would definitely qualify as cold weather...

I think you've left it over here in the UK - it's 26°C in the shade at the moment, and predicted to get hotter later. If you could come and take it back before my brain melts, that would be good.

Average temps are generally the average of the daily high and nightly low values. Doing that against the numbers here (20-40C)[^] gives averages of about 30C for the summer.

I can testify for it... 3 weeks ago in middle of monsun was like 28° / 30° C... Me and my colleagues in T-Shirt, local guys with pullovers and jackets But I am not sure what is worst... 30°C of 100% Humidity or 40°C dry

I would take that. Here in the good old American Great Plains we're forecast to get to 37C with a heat index of 40C.
