In essence, the attacks on the Clinton Foundation boil down to semantics, and political opportunism by the republicans. What is the Clinton Foundation and why is it controversial? - CNNPolitics.com[^] Bill Clinton set up the public charity after he wrapped up his presidency in 2001 with the idea of bringing government, businesses and social groups together to tackle big problems. It was kind of a new idea at the time. On Monday, Clinton wrote in a post on Medium that the foundation is about "creating opportunities and solving problems faster, better, at lower cost so that more people are empowered to build better futures for themselves, their families and their communities." ... The foundation is made up of 11 non-profit groups that work on four major issues: global health and wellness, climate change, economic development and improving opportunities for girls and women.

Wouldn't it be great if, come American election time, the internet divided in two and Americans worked on their own copy of it, so that everywhere I go isn't saturated with Trump and Clinton, and after the election the two webs could merge back

      git merge american/election

Reporting the facts about Donald Trump is hardly a bias. Trump's demagoguery, bigotry, praise of anti-American dictators, racism, and comments about women are the duty of every journalist to report, considering the consequences if he were to take the highest office on Earth.

Ted Turner invested lots of money in Hillary Clinton's campaign, and his media outlets such as CNN will inevitably try to improve her image. The article's source is heavily biased. The Clinton Foundation was created as a non-profit chartered to run a museum in Arkansas. They don't have the legal standing to raise funds for other causes. The fact that they admit to raising money internationally for other causes is an admission of charity fraud, but it's the least of their crimes. Political and legal analaysts in both the Republican and Democratic parties agree that Clinton and the foundation committed numerous felonies including fraud, corruption, bribery, and money laundering. The disagreements are on the number and the severity of the felonies. Most of the activity of the Clinton Foundation related to accepting bribes from international business and political leaders and laundering the funds into non-charity areas. The funds that were funneled into charity areas ended up in the hands of politicians and business people with whom Clinton traded favors. The Clinton Foundation prides itself in helping fight AIDS in Africa, as mentioned in the article. It did so by making deals with the pharmaceutical company Ranbaxy, who distributed useless AIDS medication supported by fraudulent lab results. The company defended itself with the statement, “Who cares? It’s just blacks dying.” Another Clinton Foundation project was intercepting funds meant to save lives in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, which they laundered into other areas and never actually spent on relief efforts, leading to more unnecessary death and devestation. Haitians today still passionately hate the Clintons, and the Clintons today still view natural disasters as opportunities to take advantage of poor people who can't easily fight dirty politics. The Clinton Foundation isn't considered "controversial", it's considered criminal.

That's all fine and dandy, but then they ignore the dirt on the Clinton Machine. So, yeah, bias.

demagogue : a political leader who tries to get support by making false claims and promises and using arguments based on emotion rather than reason example : "Trump's demagoguery, bigotry, praise of anti-American dictators, racism, and comments about women are the duty of every journalist to report, considering the consequences if he were to take the highest office on Earth."

Have anyone ever wondered why Russian Intelligence, their puppet Wikileaks, and their willing partners in the American right endeavor to spread false, sexist, and libelous information such as this about the Clinton foundation and Hillary in particular? Because they fear the presidency of a proven leader with a track record of standing up for American interests at home and abroad. Putin's worst nightmare is the accountability that would come with a Clinton presidency. The Chinese fear the same. Hillary Clinton would stand up for democracy in Russia, Hong Kong, Ukraine, Syria, and other places, while bringing the full force of US sanctions and possible military action onto those such as Iran and China who would seek to harm freedom of navigation, and US oversight in international waters. Hillary Clinton would ensure WWIII never starts, by not allowing hostile foreign actors to gain a foothold in areas of American interests. Anti-American foreign dictators, and anti-American agencies such as Wikileaks all have one thing in common: Their desire for a Trump presidency which would serve to weaken NATO and loosen America's grip on global hegemony in the 21st century.

Not just Republicans. I am in no way a GOPer and it is clear that CNN is a tool for the Oligarchy that the Clinton's are in bed with much in the same way FOX is a tool for Murdoch and his GOP elite. Both parties are corrupt and use propoganda machines to spread delusions and hate for the other. Best to tune them all out and use social media, not because it is trustworthy but because it forces you to think rationally and use your own filtering, not one paid for by elites with an elite agenda.

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

The primary beneficiaries of the money donated turns out to be the Clintons. The only woman who's economic development and opportunity have improved is Hillary Clinton.

I didn't find it that funny. Clearly you are in denial as you think it far fetched. You are clearly one of those that have fallen asleep at the wheel and allowed our government to be hi-jacked by special interests.
