Is it just me, or is everyone here suspected of being a spammer?

I've been on CP for 12.5 years now. And yet, almost every single comment I post is "held for moderation" because it is suspected of being spam. Fine, but why? Is it just me? Don't you think in 13 years if I was a spammer it would have been known by now? Just asking.
Chris is just trying to stop guys like you who go for the long con. :-D

It's not you specifically - I've was caught quite a few times until Chris changed the rules. The scanner is heuristic, and as it learns it does pick up false positives but it should learn to ignore them after a while. It doesn't normally take us long to moderate a message as spam or not spam so it shouldn't be too bad. And unfortunately, we can't assume that because someone has been here a good number of years that they won't decide to post spam. People start companies, get new jobs, write a blog, all of that - and that can trigger them to start spamming here. Trust me, you don't want to see the site without the anti-spam - sometimes it was impossible to see anything but the cr@p they posted... :sigh:

You've been online 13 years, me 10 years. Yer CP points are 1/5th what I have. I figure, the more ya post, the more yer considered "real".... Post an article; get interviewed, etc.; those should help ya!
