The reason I don't use IE (still on Win7) for dev is because I actually do web development and IEs dev tools suck.

I liked IE10s. IE11 got rid of some good features like the ruler and a few other things.

You mean you don't want to search your own domain???

If it's not broken, fix it until it is. Everything makes sense in someone's mind. Ya can't fix stupid.

IE has done that to me for years, but I noticed it when typing in a web address. If I didn't type the http:// in front, I got Bing telling me all the places my server could be found. None of them were on my local network.

No doubt with a list of escort agencies as the result.

<ryandev mode> Well, forgetting to connect your server to your local network is just careless! You can't blame ***MICROSOFT*** (heart heart heart) for your stupid mistakes. Your computer belongs to them, but if you don't allow them to own your server, too, then don't be surprised if you have problems. </ryandev mode> Gimme wu of dem ol' fashioned maos!

Chrome dev tools still has that if you turn on device emulation.

127.0.0.1 seems to work. also, you should be able to edit the hosts file found at (even on win10): c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ localhost is commented out by default. But, agreed that this is annoying.

I think bing is spidering your computer.

Ah, that's what it is. Well, it is always my first (gut?) reaction to blame MS. Now hang on while I go plug in my server. :omg:
