So it was like most presidential debates then.

Well, it doesn't feel like that. It just like people on Judge Judy show.

I guess we differ there, over the last 8 or so election cycles that I've been watching have been pretty similar. Questions are rarely answered, just deflected with the intent on creating that elusive (and unrelated) sound bite that folks will talking about afterwards.

Exactly. I'm not sure why people were expecting anything else. :^)

This is normal. Hellary did the same thing. Not sure why you didn't notice.

Clear question need Clear answer. However Trump is not willing to answer fewer questions than Hillary. Especially he literally skips the Race question.

Actually, I was anticipating a coughing/hacking attack and possibly loss of consciousness. Kind of like watching a race anticipating an accident. I just didn't expect a head-on collision of Trumps' sniffles (possible drug use) and Hillary's long pauses (possible ear piece). ;P

When you are dead, you won't even know that you are dead. It's a pain only felt by others. Same thing when you are stupid.

I really haven't watched her much before so maybe that is normal for her but I noticed the same thing. She didn't seem to be able to construct thoughts into words very well.

She's used them before. So much so that a rule was set in place to ban them from use two days before the debate. It could also be that she was prepped on the questions several weeks before the debate and just regurgitating scripted answers back with some minor adjustments. I was wondering why Holt spent 20 minutes on Trump's tax returns and the whole "birther" thing. I guess to queue Hillary for the next question... maybe. :sigh:

You'll be waiting on that for a long, long time, from either candidate. I'm guessing that era ended with the advent of televised debates, but there's a part of me that believes that its always been like this. When we are privledged to hear a succinct response, it usually blows up in their face, think "read my lips...".

I wasn't waiting a word by word answer. However I expect an answer more or less nearer to the question. This wasn't happening at all.

Simple solution: don't watch the 'debate' and stop taking politics so seriously.

It's not easy in US. The problem is not the people who is going to be elected. The problem is people flooded with a mentality of the elected president, especially this is true for Trump case.

What I wrote and what you understood and wrote completely different. I tolerate the emails and it did happened and it was admitted and you keep move on not to repeat it. And if more people doing it, it doesn't bother me as such, it may not directly affecting me. On the other side, it just bothers me lot and can't tolerate it and it does affect me lot.
