Did Samsung get a good deal on some explosives and decide to put them in everything they make? First their phones, now their washing machines[^] are blowing up.

They don't make anything like (or where) they used to.

You win the funny comment award.

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism. Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Happened to us. It took out our dryer as well. Samsung support was terrible until my wife called them out publicly on facebook. They finally reimbursed us months after it went out.

Samsung are good at components (LCD screens - used to be biggest, memory), but they've always sucked at end user product. Too fast pushing new models without proper testing. (- and if you buy their gear is seems within weeks you've got the 'old model,' and so if it breaks they have to send it away to the factory for a couple of months.)
