People across the US are protesting in response to Trump's election. Some folks are decrying the protests and telling the protesters to "get over it already. Trump won" What these folks fail to realize is that they're not protesting Trump because he won, but because of who he is. He is clearly divisive. He has made disparaging comments towards blacks, latinos, women, jews... to name a few. Now, he appoints Steve Bannon to his inncer circle. For those of you who don't know Bannon ran a Breitbart [^] which has published some pretty racist stuff. If you haven't taken the time to look it up - do so. So this appointment clearly shows that either Trump doesn't understand why half the country doesn't like him - or he doesn't care. He talks about being president for all the people, then makes decisions that alienates half of them. Not off to a good start.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is. Everything makes sense in someone's mind. Ya can't fix stupid.

And Obama is a model of civility? His policies have angered people, too, but I don't recall them rioting.

People were rioting BEFORE Trump selected Bannon, so your claim is unjustified. They're rioting because Soros is paying them to do so.

First, I'm neither a Trump not Hillary fan. They both have serious issues. You should re-read my post. I said people we're rioting. THEN I mentioned that in light of people's feeling about their perceptions about Trump being divisive, he THEN appoints Bannon. II made the point "So this appointment clearly shows that either Trump doesn't understand why half the country doesn't like him - or he doesn't care." Trump knows that people don't like his divisive commentary. So why would you add someone to your circle like Bannon. So, yes, they we're rioting before Bannon. But what is their grievance? Not that he beat Hillary, but they his dislike his racist character. And he taps a racist like Bannon in spite of that. You can't say on one hand "I want to be President for ALL the people", then take action that alienates half the people. I stand by my statement. And ya, sure... Soros is paying hundreds of thousands of people across the county to riot.

Debunking Trump being racist myths: Trump opposed mass immigration from third-world nations for practical reasons, not racial reasons. Everyone, including Trump, who takes that stance ends up labelled as a racist, even when it's not true. The Mexican government also opposes mass immigration from other third-world nations for practical reasons, and they mass-deport millions, too. Trump is highly pro-Israel and pro-African American prosperity. He has a Jewish son-in-law, half-Jewish grandchildren, and many Jewish close friends. He also received endorsements from leaders in the African American community, including Martin Luther King Jr.'s neice, Alveda King (he has real, concrete plans to free the African American communities from poverty). The riots occur because paid, professional protestors incitied the riots. Part of the inciting includes from lies and myths about Trump. As responsible citizens, we should oppose both the lies and the employment of paid protesters.

You're not making sense mate. You're saying that people are not protesting that Trump won but who he is. Then you admit that they wouldn't protest if he hadn't won. That doesn't add up. Trump would still be who he is if he hadn't won. That reason still exists in the time line where he lost, but they wouldn't protest there, so it cannot be the reason.

Not sure why this is a difficult concept.. Why would someone protest a racist president if is LOST? had he lost, he would not become president - so there's no reason to protest. People are not upset that the electoral process or the fair outcome of the elections. They're upset that someone so blatantly racist got elected.

So, which candidate do you think would have had 100% approval? And does this continue for each and every decision he's going to make?

Not sure why this is a difficult concept.. Why would someone protest a racist president if is LOST? had he lost, he would not become president - so there's no reason to protest. People are not upset that the electoral process or the fair outcome of the elections. They're upset that someone so blatantly racist got elected.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is. Everything makes sense in someone's mind. Ya can't fix stupid.

                                      Obviously we agree on this.

OK fine, but this is a different statement than before.

Trump needs to put a few key republicans inn power in his cabinet else he wont get broad Republican support and wont get any bill through the houses. Whether or not he chooses to listen to Bannon is another thing. Get the picture? Trump is no fool, seriously, he is a very clever player, he knows how to get what he wants, knows how to use people.
